"The watercolors of Jennifer Almodova are marked by subjects rich in detail and color, produced with masterful technical application of a medium known for it's difficulty. After over 18 years as a fine artist and educator, Jennifer has created a body of work that is widely respected and enjoyed by experienced art connoisseurs as well as other professional artists. She presents her subjects with a natural feeling of spontaneity, while disguising the remarkable discipline behind her eloquent execution. Few watercolorists can boast qualities this artist possesses. She has a great commitment to technical excellence, she has a genuine love of painting and her subject choices are inspired. These are rare traits to find together in a single artist working in any medium. Jennifer has them all to a high degree and this is evident in every painting she produces".

The Gallatin River Gallery presents a two-person show of original watercolors by Jennifer Almodova and animal sculptures by Michael Stano. Though varied in medium, both artists exhibit a genuine personal vision of the natural world.
Almodova, artist and teacher at the San Francisco Art Academy, has achieved an exquisite style in watercolor painting. Her botanical studies and landscapes render beauty and symbolic imagery. With intricate style, bold color and mystical compositions, her paintings give the viewer insight into a magical world. After 15 years of experience in painting, sculpture and design, she has honed her skills into vibrant masterpieces.
"Postcards From A Dream" offers a collection of recent paintings including flower studies and sky pieces.

Jennifer's paintings are extraordinary pieces of handmade art. In an era of computer-generated images that have tricked our senses, these lush paintings show a deep sense of what it means to be human.
The saturated colors mixed in brilliant combinations and the technically excellent lines, shadows, and fluid strokes are both stark in their beauty and luxurious with feeling. You can smell the fragrance of her lilies and roses, and feel the heaviness of rain in her skies.
When I see Jennifer's paintings, they are like dear friends. Their familiarity gives me comfort, yet there is delight and surprise in seeing them every time.
